What's the best time to post on Instagram?

In order to get your posts in front of more eyeballs, you need to know when your audience is actually on Instagram. Generally, the best times to post are between 9am-11am and 4pm-6pm. As you can see from the chart below, these are also the most popular hours for followers to check their feeds.

How often should you post on Instagram Stories?

The same general rules apply to Instagram Stories as they do for regular posts. If you post too many times a day, you’ll annoy your followers and may cause them to unfollow you. And don't post too few either—if that happens, it can make people think that you've stopped using the app or deleted your account altogether (and nobody wants that). Just like with regular posts, there's no magic number of Stories posted per week; it all depends on what works best for your audience and what kind of content they like seeing from you. You'll have to experiment a bit here.

Here are some general guidelines:

  • Posting every day is too much—unless every single one of those posts is totally different from one another in terms of format and style (for example, one day could be all text-based stories while the next has only photos)

  • Posting multiple times per day feels like spamming even if those posts are different from each other

Make sure you’re using hashtags strategically.

Now that you know how to find the right hashtags, it's time to utilize them in your posts. If you're not already familiar with how hashtags work on Instagram, this will be new territory for you. Hashtags are used for a variety of reasons: they help users find similar content, categorize photos and videos into topic-based feeds (called "trending tags"), and help people discover other accounts they might be interested in following.

When choosing which hashtags to use on your post, consider whether or not they're relevant to what's being shared—if they aren't associated with the image or video at all, then don't add them!

Additionally, avoid using too many tags; no matter how popular a hashtag may be today (e.g., #instagram), there will always be another one that comes along tomorrow! Try not to rely on any particular tag too heavily; instead create an assortment of options so as not limit yourself within a specific category but rather spread out across multiple categories where possible!

Engaging with your followers is a great way to make sure they keep coming back.

If you want to build an engaged community on Instagram, it helps to get as many people involved as possible. The best way to do that? Engage with your followers! They’ll appreciate the personal touch and will be more likely to stick around for more interaction in the future.

Here are some ways you can interact with your followers:

  • Responding to comments and messages is a great way to show them that their questions aren’t going unnoticed or unanswered. It also gives them the chance to learn more about what you do and why it matters, which could lead them down a path towards becoming loyal customers or supporters yourself (and maybe even fans!).

  • Sharing content that they might enjoy is another way of showing that you care about building a relationship—but this has the added benefit of potentially driving traffic back towards your own account! If someone sees something that interests him/her on one of your posts, he/she may check out what else is available from there (and hopefully become a fan).

Conclusion

We've given you a lot of information to think about here, but it's important to remember that just because something worked for one person doesn't mean it will work for you. You need to find the right balance between posting too much and posting too little, which can be difficult if you're not careful!

We hope this article has helped clear up any confusion around Instagram posting frequency and shown that there are many different ways to approach your strategy depending on your goals. Some people post every day, some people only post once per week or month—and both strategies have been successful for many brands across many industries (we've even seen some companies do better than others with daily posts!). But whatever comes next after reading this article should be based on what makes sense for your business goals first and foremost; don't fall into traps like trying too hard or feeling like failure if things don't go exactly as planned from day 1. Good luck out there and we are always here to help!
